Hello!
I am Dr. Cho Hyuk-chan, head director of Cleor Clinic Uijeongbu.
"I want to try Rejuran, but is it very painful?"
This is one of the most frequent questions I receive in the consultation room.
Especially for those who are new to injection procedures, pain is the biggest concern!
If you search online, you'll find different opinions in every review, making it confusing to know what to believe.
Today, I've organized the actual content I explain during Rejuran consultations in Uijeongbu, in the same order.
I'll explain the principle of Rejuran in an easy way.
Rejuran is not a procedure that creates volume by filling something like a filler.
It's a procedure that helps recovery from inside the skin. When the main ingredient, PN (polynucleotide), enters the dermal layer, it creates an environment where the skin regenerates itself.
As a result, the skin texture is refined, elasticity increases, and dryness decreases.
However, it's not like you'll feel "drastically different!" immediately after the procedure,
but after 2-3 weeks, many people feel "my skin looks pretty good these days?"
Think of it as a procedure that improves slowly and naturally.
Why does Rejuran pain occur, and how can it be reduced?

If you ask if it hurts, I honestly can't say it doesn't hurt.
Rejuran is injected multiple times into the shallow dermal layer, so some irritation is inevitable.
Especially in areas with thin skin, such as around the eyes and mouth, some people may feel it more sensitively.
However, I don't say "just bear with it!"
Before the procedure, we apply numbing cream thoroughly for about 30 minutes, and we also adjust the depth and speed of injection differently for each area.
For example, slowly under the eyes, and a little faster on the cheeks.
If you are sensitive to pain, please tell us during the initial consultation, and we will plan accordingly.
So you don't have to endure it against your will.^^
The Rejuran procedure time varies depending on the area, but it usually takes about 20-30 minutes.
Rejuran is not always the right answer.
During the consultation, I don't start by asking "What procedure are you going to get?"
I ask, "What are you most concerned about with your skin right now?"
If your skin texture is rough, severely dry, or fine lines are noticeable,a skin booster like Rejuran may be a good fit.
However, if blemishes or redness are the main concern, laser treatment may be a priority,
and if sagging is a concern, you may need to consider lifting first.
Procedures should not be chosen based on trends.
Whether it's right for your current skin condition, whether it's what you need at this time,
that's the first thing to check.
I recommend Rejuran to these people!
If any of the following apply to you, you can expect Rejuran results.
▢ Makeup keeps flaking
▢ Skin texture is rough
▢ Concerned about fine lines caused by dryness
▢ Sensitive skin that recovers slowly after laser treatment
👉Conversely, if you are currently experiencing a lot of breakouts, it is best to adjust the timing.
Rejuran Post-Procedure Instructions
Immediately after the procedure, there may be injection marks, bruising, swelling, and a slight bumpy feeling.

Most of them subside within 2-3 days, and if bruising occurs, it usually resolves within 5-7 days.
If redness or heat does not subside, it is best to visit us for a check-up.
On the day of the procedure, avoid alcohol, saunas, and strenuous exercise, and be sure to moisturize and protect yourself from the sun.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. How long does the effect last?
It varies from person to person, but it usually lasts about 3-6 months. It lasts longer with consistent maintenance.
Q. What's the difference between filler and Rejuran?
Filler is a procedure to fill volume, and Rejuran is a procedure to help skin regeneration. The purpose is different.
Q. Can I get it in the summer?
Yes, it is possible regardless of the season. However, be sure to protect yourself from the sun after the procedure.
Q. Why do prices vary from dermatology clinic to dermatology clinic?
It depends on the product used, the amount, the scope of the procedure, and whether the director performs the procedure directly.
Q. Can I drink alcohol after getting Rejuran?
Please avoid it on the day of the procedure. Bruising or swelling may worsen.
This is how Cleor consultations are conducted.
When you visit, we first check your current skin condition.
Then, we identify what areas you want to improve and decide whether to proceed with Rejuran alone,
or in combination with other procedures, and to what extent.
Usually, the procedures are performed at 2-4 week intervals, but the number of sessions or intervals may vary depending on the skin's reaction.
Therefore, rather than fitting into a fixed framework, we adjust it while monitoring the progress.
Finally, what I want to say is
I tend to explain things first rather than recommending procedures.
Whether it's the right procedure for you, whether now is the right time, how pain can be managed,
it's not too late to decide after you fully understand these aspects.^^
It can be difficult to find the right answer for your skin by searching alone.
The skin is something that can only be accurately checked by looking at it directly and discussing it,
so please feel free to ask any questions you have when you come for a consultation.
Cleor will explain things as they are, without exaggeration!
