Hello!
I am Dr. Hyuk-chan Cho, Director of Cleor Clinic Uijeongbu Branch.
Have you ever had this thought while looking in the mirror?
"I've been applying moisturizing cream regularly,
Why is my skin always dry and dull?"
No matter how much moisture you apply to the skin,
if the rate of moisture loss from within is faster,
it may not be an issue with your moisturizer.
It is often a sign that
the structure that holds moisture inside the skin is breaking down.
As we age and as UV rays and stress accumulate,
the distribution of hyaluronic acid within the skin becomes unbalanced,
and as the cellular regeneration rate slows down,
this structural change begins.
Today, I will explain a procedure that directly addresses this issue,
Uijeongbu LDM.

What is Uijeongbu LDM?
Uijeongbu LDM (Local Dynamic Micro-massage)is
a medical device-based skin care treatment that delivers high-density ultrasound energy to skin cells,
inducing the skin to rebuild its own moisture structure
and normalize its regeneration system.
It is a medical device-based skin care treatment.
It is also known as 'Water Drop Lifting' in dermatology clinics.
This name was given because of the feeling of
moisture filling up within the skin after the procedure.
To explain the principle with an analogy:
An old sponge does not absorb water well even if you pour it on.
The surface becomes damp for a moment, but it soon dries out again.
The skin is the same.
When the hyaluronic acid distribution is disrupted
and the cell regeneration rate has decreased,
no matter how good the moisturizing ingredients are,
they cannot properly fill the inside of the skin.
LDM is a procedure that approaches this by
restoring the structure of this 'old sponge'.

LDM MED TRI — What the Triple Frequency Does
The equipment used at Cleor Clinic Uijeongbu Branch
is the LDM MED TRI.
While conventional LDM devices used a dual method
crossing two frequencies, the MED TRI is an upgraded device that utilizes a triple method,
simultaneously using three frequencies:
1MHz, 3MHz, and 10MHz..
The three frequencies act on different depths of the skin layers.
The low frequency (1MHz) delivers energy to the deeper layers of the skin,
the medium frequency (3MHz) is involved in collagen regeneration in the dermis,
and the high frequency (10MHz) provides concentrated energy
to the shallow layers near the epidermis.
Because all three layers are stimulated simultaneously,
even energy delivery across all skin layers is possible.
There are two key changes that occur during this process.
The activity of enzymes that break down collagen (MMP) is inhibited,
and heat shock proteins (HSP) that aid in collagen production are activated.
At the same time, moisture molecules (GAG) within the skin
are evenly redistributed,
leading to a change where moisture is filled from the inside out.
What kind of changes can be expected?
Here is a summary of the changes you can expect
with Uijeongbu LDM MED TRI.
On the day of the procedure, many people experience
smoother skin texture and a feeling of
deep hydration.
With consistent treatment 👉Improvement of inner skin dryness,
refining dull skin tone, improving pores,
soothing inflammatory troubles, and restoring skin densityis
known to be helpful.
It is also frequently used to boost basic skin strength
before lasers or other intensive procedures,
or combined to stabilize sensitive skin
after such treatments.

Recommended for these individuals
Those who experience recurring inner dryness despite regular use of moisturizer
Those who feel their skin has lost elasticity and overall vitality
Those who regularly experience inflammatory issues like acne or flushing
Those who find lasers or high-intensity procedures burdensome or need to avoid strong irritation due to sensitive skin
Those who want to combine it with other dermatological treatments for pre- and post-care
Uijeongbu LDM is not a procedure for those expecting immediate, dramatic changes.
Its purpose is entirely different from the roles of
lasers or lifting, such as
noticeable pigment removal or sagging correction.
Since it is a procedure focused on restoring the basic skin structure and reviving the power to hold moisture,
a consistent management plan is much more important than just 1 or 2 sessions.
In the first few sessions, as waste products within the skin are discharged,
temporary breakouts may occur
,and this is
known as a reactionthat appears during the recovery process.Procedure Guide: After cleansing and refining the skin surface,
the LDM MED TRI handpiece is placed against the skin
to deliver ultrasound energy to each area.
There is almost no pain, so anesthesia is not required,
and the procedure time is approximately 30 minutes.
Face washing and makeup are possible immediately after the procedure,
and there is no separate recovery period.
Generally, after intensive care 1–2 times a week,
monthly maintenance is recommended,
but the medical staff will adjust this based on individual skin conditions.
⚠️

PrecautionsPlease avoid alcohol, smoking, saunas, and strenuous exercise on the day of the procedure.
Please refrain from using strong peels or functional cosmetics for one week after the procedure.
Apply sunscreen thoroughly when going out.
Due to the nature of ultrasound procedures, repeating them at too short intervals may place a burden on the skin.
For those who have received hyaluronic acid fillers, LDM treatment is recommended at least 3 months later.
❓
Frequently Asked QuestionsQ. Uijeongbu LDM, after how many sessions can I feel a change?
A. Some people feel the skin hydration and texture refinement
from the day of the procedure.
Changes in elasticity and density through collagen remodeling
often appear through consistent management.
There are differences depending on individual skin conditions.
Q. What is the difference between LDM MED TRI and regular LDM?
A. Conventional LDM is a dual method that crosses two frequencies.
MED TRI is a triple method that utilizes three frequencies simultaneously,
allowing energy to be delivered evenly to the epidermis, dermis, and deeper layers,
providing a broader approach
to overall skin care.
Q. Can I receive it on the same day as other laser treatments?
A. LDM can be combined with most procedures.
It is often performed on the same day,
especially for skin soothing and regeneration after laser treatments.
However, whether it can be combined depends on the type of procedure and skin condition,
so confirmation from the medical staff is required.
Q. Can I receive it if I have fillers in my skin?
A. After hyaluronic acid filler procedures,
it is recommended to proceed at least 3 months later.
Please be sure to inform the medical staff of your filler history
before the procedure.
Q. What is the treatment cycle for Uijeongbu LDM?
A. We recommend 1–2 times a week for intensive care,
and approximately once a month for maintenance.
The medical staff will adjust this based on individual skin conditions.
Uijeongbu LDM is not a method of adding something to the surface of the skin,
but an approach to reviving the skin's own power
to hold moisture and regenerate.
It can be a starting point for those who want to reawaken their skin's natural functions
without strong irritation.
